According to statistics, the state of New Jersey allots more budget per public school student compared with other states. Also, New Jersey's high schools consistently score very well in SATs. In 2011, three schools in New Jersey represented the highest and second highest SAT scores nationwide. New Jersey is also the home of Princeton University which got the distinction for one of the best national universities in the country.
