| Description: | Wentworth Military Academy is the only coeducational military boarding school in Missouri. It provides high school students an exemplary college preparatory program where they can build their self-discipline and confidence. The average class size in this school is 11 students per class and the teacher to student ratio is 1:10. Students are involved in their own education, well aware of the fact that at Wentworth, there is no "back of the room" where they can hide and blend into the background. Wentworth Military Academy offers a structured approach that applies not just to the classroom but also in the everyday life of all cadets. Students have 7 classes everyday, and a 2-hour supervised study period in the afternoon. The rigid and structured curriculum of Wentworth Military Academy ensures that all cadets will be prepared for college, no matter what field the choose to take. The fundamentals of reading, writing, math skills, learning skills and organizational techniques reinforces the core subjects taught in class. Educators of Wentworth Military Academy are not just dedicated to their profession, they are also very capable. Over 94% of the school's teachers have advanced degrees.
