Description: Oakdale is an independent college preparatory boarding school in Kentucky for boys and girls after the Free Methodist tradition. It strives to provide a Christ-centered education for their students. The school is a good place to develop interpersonal skills while building good character through bible-based traditions.

The school enrolls 50 students annually and provides them with high standard education delivered through cutting-edge technology and tempered by sound Biblical world view. Oakdale Christian Academy is more than just a school. It's also a tightly-knit community where students can grow and be nurtured in the Christian faith.

The school also offers dual-credit college courses with Central Christian College. This means that high school students can take certain courses which will also be credited to them if they decide to continue their college education in Central Christian Colleges. These credits are also transferrable to other colleges and universities across the country. While the academic demands of the school is quite high, the support given to the students is more than sufficient. Student tutors and teachers make themselves available to students who need extra help with their studies. Grades are also mailed home at the end of each grading period in order to update parents of the progress of their students. There's also the online GradeLink program where parents can have a more detailed view of their children's progress in school.

The school's athletic programs form a large part of the students' experience in their stay at Oakdale. There are different sports programs such as soccer, volleyball, football, hockey, and more. Students can also take part in several different extracurricular organizations such as Bible Quizzes, choir, Praise and Worship band, Christian Life Groups, Puppet Ministry, and many more.

Oakdale is accredited through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International). Over 80% of the school's alumni enroll in colleges and universities all over the country.
