| Description: | Culver Academies is an independent, military college preparatory boarding school in Indiana which aims to prepare young men and women to be admitted in the best colleges and universities in the country. Culver Academies has separate schools for boys and girls outfitted with unparalleled facilities as well as one of the most comprehensive academic programs among boarding schools. Culver Academies invests in good leadership training in order to shape young men and women who have a drive for excellence and achievement and to reach beyond their self-imposed limitations. The schools' academic program includes twenty Advanced Placement courses in a wide variety of disciplines. The school's philosophy in teaching is geared towards cultivating students' natural interests. The school is also careful to structure blocks of time for classes so that students can focus intensively on classes before moving on to the next. Students focus intensively on three or four subjects each term in order to have a deeper understanding and enjoy a broader exploration of the subject matters. The school's college advising office also aims to help Culver students discover the best college that fits each student academically, socially, and athletically. The advisers believe in individualized guidance because each student is unique and there's no single formula or solution that fits all.
