College counseling at RGNS starts at the eight grade, when students are helped to pick out the courses that they want to take in their ninth grade, in preparation for what they want to do for college. College counseling includes a hands-on process of choosing a college and going through the application process. Students also go to several college fairs every year to get exposed to the different cultures on different campuses. They also hold parent information sessions every fall where college representatives present information to parents, juniors and seniors to help them make a decision on where they want to go to college after high school.

RGNS also has several sports programs which students are encouraged to join. A few examples are baseball, golf, softball, swimming, basketball, and more. There are also some extracurricular activities such as diversity club, french club, honor council, thespian club, student government, and more.
